Following its early access period of nearly two years, developer Far From Home has announced that its sci-fi survival RPG Forever Skies will get is 1.0 release on April 14th for PC and PS5. Those who pre-order Forever Skies on PS5 will get access to the game three days earlier, along with the Supporter pack which includes, Airship Skin – Pearl Emerald Themed, Airship Skin – True Blue Themed. Fossilized Apex Predator Figurine. Digital Picture Frame, Laika and Felicetti Tribute Poster, and 5 Forever Skies-Themed PSN Avatars.
In Forever Skies, players return to Earth as a scientist to discover what caused the loss of humanity’s home and what has changed. Earth has suffered an ecological disaster that forced humans to build massive towers to escape the problems of the surface, but that was not enough leading to an exodus from the planet. As the scientist you will pick through the ruins to find lost technology and repurpose it, as well as find ways to create food, and survive against Earth’s new inhabitants. Players will be living on airship that can be upgraded and customised, acting as the base of operations for the scientist.
You can get Forever Skies on Steam in Early Access now, and the game can be pre-ordered on the PlayStation store.
