The chaotic kitty multiplayer game Jumping Jazz Cats is coming out for PC on 10th April, Team17 and developer Le Catnip Collective have announced – a demo is available now as part of Steam Next Fest.

Supporting multiplayer parties of up to 9 players online, or 4 in local split-screen, Jumping Jazz Cats opens up a world of mischief for your feline avatars as you explore a mansion of th Ellington Estate – named after the Duke, of course. There’s spiral staircases, opulent rooms and passageways filled with distractions. Not that you’ll really need them, you’re able to grind down handrails, swing on chandeliers, bounce from cushions, climb up curtains and more.

There’s 6 levels and 6 cat GIF inspired game types that blend co-op and competitive play. You’ll be off to the races, trying to win a collectathon, face off in teams and more. There’s a soundtrack of ten original jazz tracks that influence gameplay during the choruses.

It looks delightfully playful, and there’s plenty of cat customisation available with different body types, fur patterns and little costume pieces.
