Whitehorn Games has announced that it is delaying the PS5 and PS4 release of Botany Manor, which was due to out on December 17th. It is now scheduled for Q1 2025. Botany Manor launched in April for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch. The reason for the delay of Botany Manor has been given as needing more time, and a statement has been released.
“We understand many PlayStation fans were excited about Botany Manor’s planned Tuesday release. In the interest of ensuring that players have the best possible experience on that platform, a decision was made to take a little extra time to make sure this happens. We understand the disappointment this news may cause, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may bring to our fans, supporters, and partners. We are doing our best to minimize this delay period and will provide an updated release date soon.”, said Whitehorn Games in a statement.
In Botany Manor, players will have the opportunity to uncover the secrets of Arabella, a pioneering 19th century female scientist, as they navigate the manor’s rooms and spaces. By interacting with objects and solving plant-based puzzles, players will piece together the clues that will show the struggles Arabella faced as a scientist in the 19th century due to being a woman.
Botany Manor is currently available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X, and is part of the Xbox Game Pass library.
