Rage 2 is going to be releasing in just a few days on May 14th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We’ve already had quite a quite a few trailers for it, which go to different lengths to show just how much carnage players will be able to cause in the world. Obviously, launch day is just the beginning as Bethesda will be releasing a lot of content through 2019 for Rage 2. How do we know this? 1) Industry practice. 2) A roadmap. Publishers love their roadmaps.
During May there will be challenges to conquer and some weapons skins to get. The first world event will also kick off in the form of Bring The Ruckus which features the character Ruckus The Crusher. I’m going to assume you’ll have to crush him in some way. In June Cheat codes are being added along with more challenges and skins, and another world event. That world event is called Mech Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself in which players will pilot a mech to fight a huge enemy. July adds more skins and cheats as well as the Global Worming world event.
August is when the first paid expansion arrives and it is called Rise of the Ghosts, which will add a new region of the Wasteland to explore along with a new storyline to get through. There will also be the Mutant Derby world event taking place. Then between September and December the yet unnamed second expansion will release, which will also bring a new story and area to explore.
